We are praising the Lord again, as we had a dr appt today at which we found out that Rosie's jaundice went down so much, I had to convince the nurse that we hadn't done any therapy, just lots of nursing. They said she won't need any further monitoring! Wow!
Also, Rosie was 8 lb 6 oz when born, and 3 days later had dropped to 7 lb 9 oz. The next day, she was up to 7 lb 14 oz, and today, up to 8 lb even already! She's already put back on more than half of the weight she lost, and they don't have to be back up to birth weight until 2 weeks, which is great! I couldn't believe that she put on 7 oz in 2 days!!!
I am also soooo happy to have Carrie in town!!! Sad that I only get one more day with her, but I have missed her soo much. And, boy does she love Rosie! She won't put her down or let any one else hold her.
On the other end of the spectrum, anyone who is praying for us, we have another direction to turn your prayers. We don't know for sure why, if I just over did or what, but I have been in excruciating pain the last 2 days, and the pain meds are no longer taking care of things the way they're supposed to. I have to wait till Monday to talk directly to my doctor, but if it's more than just overdoneness, it could be an infection, so pray that it is what we think, and that we can get the pain managed.
