Well, I'm officially "full term". Come on, baby!!! ooorrr...not...
I had my appt today, and it was fine. The non stress test went well. I was having contractions (some i didn't feel) every 4-6 minutes, and they were strong enough to basically be off the chart, but not painful or anything. Stupid Braxton Hicks. Anyway, for all their annoying-ness, when he checked me, I still hadn't progressed at all. Grrrr...But it was good that they could monitor the baby through them to see how she responded, and she did great. The doctor called her the perfect picture of a happy baby. Oh, yeah, she also got the hiccups while I was being monitored, so we got to wait those out. :) The nurse was laughing because she had to hold the monitor on me because Rosie's hiccups were making my whole belly jump around.
Everything else looked good too. Now I'm measuring 2 weeks ahead instead of just one. The new nurse was nice, and we'll do another NST next week, so I'll probably get to see her again.
Sorry, no exciting news yet. Trust me, I'd give a lot for some exciting news. But Dr West said, barring a miracle, I'd still be pregnant next week. Blech...
