SHE TOOK THE BOTTLE!!! Yes, that's right. Today, for the very first time, she actually took a bottle! From me, even (although I put her in her bouncer and fed her from behind so she couldn't see me). I couldn't believe it! She took it like she'd been doing it all her life. It was sooo weird. But I feel so much better now, knowing that if I need to leave her with someone for a little while, I can. Also, that I could give her a bottle while we're out instead of hiding out in the back of the car fighting the car seat and nursing cover. Oh happy day!!! (hopefully it wasn't a fluke. Next time she's hungry, we're gonna try again.)
AND, to update from yesterday. Rosie has been doing good. The last few days she seems to be a little off. I think it's her reflux. No temperature or anything like that. Just extra fussy and eating erratically. But she is getting soooo strong! if you hold her arms, she can stand and support her weight, and she can sit up with a lot of balancing. She's very teeter totter-y, but the strength is there. It's crazy. Bobby was walking by 7 months, and Rosie seems to be on the fast track there too. I'm sure not ready for that yet!
I don't remember what else I had typed up yesterday that got erased. Probably nothing interesting. But if I remember, I will repost.
Now off to the zookeper files for more general life stuff...

For your sake I hope that Rosie doesn't walk that early... Boy have I heard stories. I am super glad that Jenna understood the word "no" when she started.
I'm so happy for you that Rosie can have a bottle! If you ever want to go on a date with your husband, let me know. Josh and I would totally watch her for you. :D
you gave me so much hope that i tried again today and she took it! im going to try again in a couple hours, but hopefully there is a good baby vibe in the air this week!

Round 2 went great! she took 2 1/2 ounces and decided she was full. yay!
