So, to update on life in general, I'll start with the zoo. The zoo is loud. More specifically, Samson is loud. Way too loud. Since we had Rosie, he has gotten exponentially louder, despite my efforts to keep his life as much unchanged as possible. Unfortunately, it has gotten to the point where he is truly disturbing life, especially Rosie's life. He is waking her up all the time, and sometime's when he squawks, she will get upset and stop eating. Beyond that, Bobby has had it. Over the years, he has been so tolerant and patient with my menagerie, but he has reached the end of his rope. All that said, we are trying to find Samson a new home. There is a lady with lots of bird experience that I'm hoping will take him, but she can't until next week, so we'll see.
The other major development in life is The Fancy Pansy. This is the name of my up and coming business. lol. I am going to be selling baby and cloth diapering items, as well as things for moms and their households (like coffee cup cozies, hanging tea towels, and who knows what else). I have a box that I told myself has to be full before I can really put them up online. I'm going to start on the work-at-home-mom section of diaperswappers.com, and then eventually move up to my own hyenacart. We'll see how it goes. I'll post links when I get things put together.
For now, there is sewing to be done!
