Rosie smiled at me for the first time today. Well, the first real smile anyway. It was adorable. I tried to get her to do it again for the camera, but of course that wasn't happening. Rather strange that she did it today of all days, though, because it has been about the worst day ever for trying to get her to eat. It's been a very horrible day. (and it's been one of those days anyway...murphy's law day...nothing's gone right.)
anyway, just thought I'd share.

Isn't God good though- on the worst day imaginable what an inspiration to get the first legitimate smile. Wait until she giggles at something funny you do. It will make you amnestic for all the colicky fussy days she has had, ever! I think you're awesome by the way. We should all get together and have a play date sometime. Oh wow, that sounds so mommyish!!!
