Third Trimester

Well, today marks the first official day of my third trimester. . . Krissy says it goes fast, so I'm feeling hopeful, but holding little Cole sure made me feel impatient!!! [thanks for letting me hog him for so long the other day, Krissy! :o)]

So, anyway, here's my story of the day. So, I went to burlington's the other day and had this whole thing where a lady asked me if I was having twins because she couldn't believe I still had 3 months to go. yeah...then today, the following dialogue occured:

Sweet lady who meant no harm (I will refer to as SL) : So, you're in, what, month 9? month 8??

me: um...actually closer to 6...just starting my 7th

SL: OH MY!!! is it...is it twins???

me: no, just one!

SL: oh dear! BIG baby!!!

me: I hope not!!!

so...two people in less than a week...I told Rosie, one more, and we're going to have to cut down on the butterfingers! LOL!!!

Anyway, the dr said I was measuring a little bit big, but "not much" and he wasn't worried about it at all, and my home scale says I' haven't really gained much in the last 4 weeks, so I think I'm still okay...

Correct me on that if I look like a whale, k?

Oh, yeah...just to make me feel better about my bulging baby belly, the stretchmarks have officially arrived...

i think you look cute. and you're naturally small waisted, so you don't have much room in there for baby... it all has to go out!

You can hold Cole any time! Just give me a call and come over. :)

You are super cute right now... not like a whale at all! I know how frustrating it can get having people make comments like that though. Keep your chin up! Pretty soon you will have a beautiful baby girl of your own to hold!

okay, because my internet at home hates me, this is the third time ive tried to leave this comment. so if you have three of them from me, im really sorry!

you do not look like a whale. :) and i am jealous that your stretch marks are just now appearing as mine have been around for several months now, and have learned to multiply. but- if you can find one you are not allergic to, sunless tanner works like magic to help them blend away into your skin. even a really pale one. :)
