19 weeks

Just updating on me. I'm feeling really pretty good most of the time now. I'm really hungry all the time, and I've been eating about 5 small meals a day plus lots of snacks. And I get this weird need to drink like a gallon of water every night around 9:30. This obviously does not aid with the sleeping through the night issues.

My belly seems to grow by the day, and my mom and Nora are ALWAYS saying things about it. I kinda told them it was getting annoying :o) all in good humor, of course. But they still can't help themselves. Today, my Mom pointed at my belly, and (to a customer) said, "that's my future grandchild in there". . . it was weird. Made me laugh. At least I finally feel like I look pregnant, not chubby. I've had two people ask me now, which is encouraging. One of our furniture reps asked me out of nowhere, "Did you get that Egyptian flu?" (I just looked at him blankly) "You know, the one where after nine months you turn into a mummy?" haha, very funny...

Otherwise, I'm just a little stir crazy. I have ALL this baby shopping I want to do, but I can't really get too much for a couple of weeks, until we know what we're having. Only two weeks from today, though! I know it'll be over before I know it. So in the meantime, I'm sewing "fitted" cloth diapers (in gender neutral colors). I have about 7 newborn size done, and 2 "small" (10-20 lbs). I'm excited because I ordered some neat fabric and size tags that just shipped today. Once they get here, I'll really be able to go to town! I really need to have a yard sale and buy some bedding. Then I'll post pics of the baby's room. I just love the crib and dresser/changing table I got!

So, anyway, next week, I'll officially be halfway! I'm excited to hit that milestone, even if it only means the impending "pop" of the belly! :o) Everything already feels stretched to the max! I hope I don't explode!

well, if you made it this far, thanks for reading my blog...drop me a line!

Awe... I bet you are looking adorable! I want to come see the crib all set up sometime. You are so close to halfway! Yay! Oh, and for the ever stretching tummy... I have found that I really like the Suave cocoa butter with shea lotion. :)
