Busy, busy, and a little insane

My goodness, how crazy life is!

My last Dr.'s appt went well. I had totally forgotten about my glucose screening, so I had to go back and do that later, but all my mine and baby's stats were great. My physical therapy sessions are really helping me out with my hips!

Friday we got to go to the Snake River Stampede Rodeo. Yeehaw! We had a blast (although Rosie was quite the chalenge), and even got to see a Bull get dizzy and fall down! haha.

This week has been rough, though. Monday, I twisted my ankle (I seriously need new shoes) and wrenched my hips in a really bad way. Then today I had a little adventure (story below) that left me pretty much completely crippled. Just trying to make it till Bobby gets home and can help with the munchkin tonight.

So, the adventure we had... well, I went out through the garage to go turn off the sprinklers (our underground sprinklers broke a pipe, so we are using manual ones until that gets fixed). In that 30 seconds that it took me to go turn off the spigot, Rosie managed to turn the lock , locking me outside with no phone, no key, and all the windows securely locked. After trying to get her to turn it back for several minutes (ending in her panicking), I "ran" as best as I could down to the nearest neighbors (3, 3-acre lots down) to use their phone (in my PJ's). They were super nice and helped me stay calm while I called Bobby. Thankfully he answered (he normally doesn't answer #'s he doesn't recognize), and I told him to come home NOW! Then I "ran" all the way back to the house, checked the door (just in case), and went around the back to see if I could keep Rosie at the back door, calm, and out of trouble. That's when I saw that she had also closed the laundry room door, and was therefore shut in the laundry room. Joy. So back around to the garage I went, and spent the next 10 minutes or so talking to Rosie, trying to get her to unlock the door, and playing "knock on the door" to keep her from panicking again. Daddy to the rescue!!! Rosie was VERY sober for the next half hour or so, but then went back to normal (even closed herself in the master closet on purpose, saying "BYE!" and laughing). Me, on the other hand, ...well, I spent the next hour and a half shaking. I'm feeling much better now, but that's the kind of stress I really don't need right now!!! Praise the Lord that everything was okay and that Rosie didn't get into any trouble!!

Just to make today a little more crazy...

I'm asking for prayers for two other situations. My friend Nora is 32 weeks pregnant (just 2 weeks ahead of me), and is in preterm labor. I don't know much in the way of details, but from what I've read, I don't think they are getting it stopped (they stopped it on Saturday, but she is contracting again today every 1-2 minutes).

The other thing I would ask for prayers is for Heidi's family. I talked to her earlier today and they think her grandpa had a heart attack.

Thank you to anyone who would send up prayers for these people who are very dear to me!!

thanks for the prayers. it was a heart attack, and they're doing an angiogram in the morning. if they find a blockage, they will either put in a stint or do open-heart surgery, depending on the blockage.
