4 1/2 months old already!

Man, what is happening to my baby??? sheesh...

anyway, rosie had her "four month" checkup yesterday. She is doing great! Still growing like a weed. I've gotta figure out how to make her stop! lol. She's now 16 1/2 pounds, 26 3/4 inches (98.6%tile), and her head is a nice whopping 16 7/8 inches. Her weight-for-length is now 11.63%tile, which is way better than the previous 2.63%tile! I knew those little legs looked chubbier! Dr Andrews said that she expects her eyes will stay hazel. And she estimated her adult height to be 5' 6 1/2", so just barely taller than me (but who really knows).

It was funny. As soon as the Dr saw her, she said, "Oh my goodness, she has TEETH! She's only 4 month old and she has TEETH! I can't believe she has TEETH!!! I think she's my youngest patient ever to have TEETH." (and, yes, she pronounced teeth with caps, and continued to make similar remarks throughout the appt).

Rosie also had to have her 2nd round of shots, and has been doing okay. She's been fussy and had a bit of a fever, but mostly, she just sleeps a lot.

The only other thing of note is that Dr Andrews said to tell everyone that she is "highly advanced in her gross motor skills". She was really impressed with how strong her neck is and how well she is sitting up. That's my kid!
