Well, I had my 35 week appt today, and it went great. All my blood pressure and stuff were good. He had some trouble with her heartbeat because she was moving around so much that he kept losing it, but he just laughed. He got it good enough eventually. I told the dr I've been having a ton of braxton hicks, and he said "how bout I check your cervix?" I said that would be great. So he did a quick test for Group B Strep, and then checked me, and I'm officially a centimeter dialated! I'm still "thick", though, so no effacing yet. What's that mean? Not a whole lot. A person can be 1 centimeter dialated for weeks on end and not have the baby, but at least it's a sign that my body is getting ready, and that the contractions are doing some good. It's frustrating to feel like I'm constantly uncomfortable for no reason. Anyway, he said I'll be considered full term in 9 days, and that the baby can come any day now. The doctor seems almost as excited as us! He's a great doctor. And Bobby didn't faint or anything, so he's doing good too. lol.
So from here on out I have an appt every week. Next one is set for Tuesday, the 30th, in Boise because they want to do a non-stress test (just monitor the baby for a while, since I didn't do the 3 hr glucose test. It was our compromise).
I'm just really glad I'm dialating, so I feel like something is happening. Rosie's really been beating me up, and I think she's as ready to be done as I am! :o)

Hey! I'm glad that things are going okay for you. Isn't it exciting to get to the weekly appointments?
I also wanted to tell you that I am up late and bored so I did a little chain blog thing on my insomnia blog that I included you in... you don't have to do it, but anyway, it was kind of fun... :)
