So I'll be 13 weeks tomorrow, and my second appointment was today. It went well. I've lost a little weight, but nothing abnormal for not being able to eat very well. All my blood tests from last time were normal, and the baby's heartbeat is strong and fast. I always thought the mommies that buy dopplers just to listen to their baby's heartbeat anytime they wanted were nuts, but now I understand. What a relief and joy to be able to hear that 170 beat per minute little thump!
Also, we got to schedule our next two appointments, the second of the two being THE ultrasound!
As in, the one where we get to find out what we're having! It's set for June 16th. I was afraid I was going to have to wait longer than that, so that's just fine with me! I CAN'T WAIT!!! Eight more weeks...seems like forever now, but I'm sure I'll look back on them like they just flew by.
