Addiction

Addiction....usually a bad thing, huh? Well, I'm addicted. I admit it. I'm addicted to sci-fi. I latch on to a show, and I can't let go. I have to know what comes next. I can watch epi after epi, and I never get tired. Even when I've watched the finale, I want more. Case in point: Star Trek. Or, right now, Battle Star Galactica. Not to mention LOST. And I do the same thing with books. I can't read a series of books unless I have all of them available. Then I devour them like I'm some sort of seriously deprived creature. If I'm not doing something else that is absolutely necessary, I'm reading. And reading...and reading..until I read the last sentence of the last book............and end up dissatisfied that it didn't last longer. That I can't follow these mythical people for all time.
